Soon thereafter, people started contacting me saying that they didnt have a cocker, but could they come pleazzzze? So effective 2006 I changed it to Pooky's All Breed Dog Walking Club! All breeds & age …

… Power Activities such as Fire Walking, Glass Walking, Throat Arrow Breaking, Throat Steel Rod Bending, Breaking Boards/Bricks are things which we believe are impossible for normal people. These activities are metaphors for everyday situations which we interpret as problems and challenges whereas they are actually opportunities in disguise. It is precisely this negative belief which stops us from applying for that better job, starting our own business, getting that promotion, going for that rel …

… It is the rhythm of walking together as a pack that is a positive, dog-social experience. To that end, structured pack walking can be an incredibly therapeutic, rewarding experience for a dog. However, if you are looking for a group where your dog can “meet” new dogs and play, this is not the group for you. Minimum one handler per dog: one human per dog, and one dog per human. Extra humans welcome to help organize the pack! Respect Space: when we begin our walks, we will aim to keep approximatel …
Hi! This meetup is for fun, friendly people in the New york City area who are interested in walking around the city for fun, FIRST, and (and for fitness, second)!! In other words, this group is not for people looking to suit-up in hi-tech jogging outfits and high-performance walking sneaks with wristband weights and powerbars in their pockets.. This group is for people looking to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city while in the company of other people who enjoy the sights and sounds of th …

I decide to start this group because I enjoy walking and love Central Park. The 6 mile loop is challenging and great as part of my exercise routine. It would be great to have a group of women who also enjoy walking to help me push myself to go there and push my time to make it a challenge. This is for women who are interested in walking at a brisk pace for 6 miles, or working up to walking at a brisk pace.

A walking group for those that need to talk or just want company to enjoy nature. We all have things happening in our lives - come walk, de-stress and share stories if you want to, talk about the world, family -whatever you want or nothing at all.
We're a fitness group for people interested in walking as a fitness exercise. We use an interval method in which we alternate fast with slow walking. Our intervals will be based on either time or distance. Examples would be: 3 reps of FW 5mins + SW 5mins; 3 reps of FW 0.5mi + SW 0.5mi. We'll meet at least twice a week, usually at Central Park. However, we might meet at other parks or locations of recreations sometimes. The walking sessions will last at least 30mins, but we're progressing to walk …

Sorry you lost your leader, but this opportunity is great for walkers like me, Michelle Babian who feel better when moving around, would like to make a good habit of walking and can foresee adding other physical activity down the line. This year I think that walking flat terrain is challenging enough. The frequency and consistency, the desire, the accomplishment are enough! Walk on, right on, move on, carry on, ...... I'm looking forward to meeting you all for a match-up, motivating, mind stormi …

Every rescued dog is a success story, and this group can be a place to share your dog's own story while meeting other people who have made the same commitment to saving an animal from a shelter, the streets, or any other bad situation. Join us for a casual leashed walk around Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Since many people are kind enough to adopt dogs with behavioral issues, this isn't a playgroup, but rather a low-key pack walk. Our walks generally last 1.5 hours, and may involve some hills and/o …
